NDRS Units by GEF Deployed in American Cities | Item Donation
We all have clothing, books or household items that are unused; taking up room in our basement, garage or storage closet. Items we haven’t needed in years; give these items a second life. Donate them to someone who can use them at your local NDRS. What’s an NDRS you ask? The NDRS aka Neighborhood Donation Recycling Station is another way GEF is assisting in the way we dispose of used or unwanted items. Located in California, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia; the NDRS is a recycling program providing safe clean locations for people to get rid of used and unwanted items.
Watch the video to see how Green Education Foundation walks the walk, by reusing old discarded international shipping containers to build Neighborhood Donation Recycling Stations. Recently shipping containers of this type have found many uses, including modular building spaces for home and office projects. The video showcases the full cycle of reuse, rethink, recycle; showing how GEF staff receives recycled goods from Neighborhood Donation Recycling Stations. Green Education Foundations most effective ecological program to date!
