Club América Introduces NDRS at Youth Tournament: Recycle and Make a Difference!

Club América and Green Education Foundation are excited to announce the presence of a Neighborhood Donation Recycling Station (NDRS) at the upcoming Club América Kids Tournament. This youth tournament, taking place from May 23 to May 27, will be hosted across three different venues, with the NDRS container specifically located at Surf Sports Park in Del Mar. Participants and attendees can donate clothes and sneakers to the NDRS on May 23 and May 24.

NDRS, or Neighborhood Donation Recycling Stations, offer a fantastic solution for reducing waste and recycling materials that might otherwise end up in landfills. These stations make it convenient for soccer fans and attendees to donate unwanted shoes and clothing. Instead of discarding old sports shoes, you can “give them wings” by recycling them, ensuring they have a second life!

Each year, Green Education Foundation diverts over 50 million pounds of materials from landfills, aiming to eventually reach 100 million pounds annually. This achievement is made possible through partnerships with organizations that host NDRS on their properties, offering community members accessible recycling locations. Green Education Foundation is proud to be taking on these impactful initiatives with Club América and Fundación Televisa. By participating in these initiatives, Club América is taking significant steps to positively impact the environment and setting a positive benchmark for other sports organizations to follow.

Join us in making a positive difference at the Club América Kids Tournament by recycling your old gear and supporting a sustainable future. Together, we can create a cleaner, greener world! Come visit Club América’s NDRS at Surf Sports Park in Del Mar on May 23 and May 24!
