Reclaiming our Local Watersheds!

The partnership between Cheer and GEF is leading the way in student awareness & environmental education through the Garbage Museum and Upcycling Exhibit. The students will learn the affects of dumping man made materials in our creeks and rivers, as well as get the visual experience while they tour the Garbage Museum. The Students will receive a hands on experience of the Upcycling Exhibit and learn the ways GEF is changing the way we dispose of unwanted items. Donating unused stuff is one of the best ways to improve the way we dispose of used and unwanted items. All of us in the community have items that have been collecting dust in a basement, garage or storage area. Backpack Exchange

“Trade an Old One for a New One!”

The Green Education Foundation is now signing up schools for our Backpack Exchange Program. The program allows schools to give their students the opportunity to receive a brand new backpack complete with school supplies for the next school year.
